NoBodyImportant Posted May 25, 2023 Report Share Posted May 25, 2023 Finally got enough time off to spend the weekend up in the mountains to get my soybeans planted and the waterhole finished. The watering hole got a little out of hand. It started as a small water hole/ pond to draw deer in but as I kept reshaping it it kept getting bigger and bigger. I’m still learning the excavator controls. The waterhole ended up about 12ft deep in the middle and about 50ft x60. I ran pipe up the the spring so it’s keeping it full. I’m hoping it clears up some. I will be putting an elevated deer blind between the waterhole and the food plot. I also got the road to the back side of the mountain finished to get logging trucks in to clear cut about a 6 acre area to plant a dove field and larger pond. It slow because work is killing me right now. My job is working me 60 hours a week and I have so many side jobs that I’m turning jobs down.
