marsh man Posted May 31, 2023 Report Share Posted May 31, 2023 (edited) The recent ones I have been to lately I have found there cartridges can and do make as much money as you can sometimes buy them for , you bid £50 / 60 for a slab and then you have to remember you have got around 20 % buyers fee on to top of the selling price . Side x sides yes , it can cost more for fuel to attend the auction than the price you pay for a run of the mill sound s x s , just recently they had a little auction at the wildfowling club I am in , a chap brought along a tidy Masters s x s , when this gun went up for sale the asking price was £50 , no one was interested and it dropped down to £40 again no interest , this then went down again £30 , then £20 and when nobody wanted it at £15 it was removed from sale , although I think the owner sold it when the auctioned finished . sign of the times .
