akka Posted June 1, 2023 Report Share Posted June 1, 2023 I had an hour or so this evening lurking in the hedge. Thought I might get a few of the pigeons that are coming in to the sprouting maize. Got the 1st one 20 minutes in, left him out there and it seemed to draw more in. Got 5 in the end with the ultra 22. So nice to be out in the evening sun, also had a close encounter with an inquisitive hare and a nice roe doe and buck sauntered past. Beats watching TV anyway. marsh man Posted June 2, 2023 Report Share Posted June 2, 2023 Nice photos , Just getting out in the countryside on these Summer evenings is far better than watching the T V , we are less than three weeks from the longest day and then the hours of light is on the way down , so give the box a miss and just enjoy the light nights whilst it last .
