JDog
The first is a Perovskia which I planted fifteen years ago when I lived here. The second is my old mucker Jacko who is down here with his Mrs and youngest daughter for a few days. He and I were thwarted by the pigeons on Monday, thwarted by the weather yesterday but today we sort of got it right as we shot 61 pigeons on the only rape stubble left in these parts. Wilts#Dave
Well done Jdog. Glad to see you managed to get amongst them with Jacko! There’s still rape stubble here but they haven’t got on it at all really with this wet weather, which is a shame as it’s generally one of my favoured stubbles to shoot over. Hope you’re having a good summer shooting season in between the rain!

Clodhopper
Did you run out of cartridges? Jacko told me he was bringing an extra slab to cover you.
