Scully
1) Again, you’re wrong. No more than when your barrels are just hanging there during loading. 2) Its ok, the safeties on! 😀👍 Come on, you’re more intelligent than that! You’re very quick to brand others idiots! Think it through instead of letting your superiority complex do the thinking. 👍
Gordon R
I think one of the problems is the word "safety" catch. It might be slightly safer, but is no guarantee whatsoever that the gun will not fire. I cannot comprehend why anyone would rely on one at all. Treat any loaded gun as if it could accidentally fire at any time.

Treat any loaded gun as if it could accidentally fire at any time. That is all very true. The name is certainly not the best description. And I also cannot understand anyone that would actually rely on one. But what I really cannot comprehend most of all is the arrogance of anyone who thinks he is so safe and his gun handling so infallible that he would boast to all who will listen that he not only doesn’t need such a catch but refuses to use the one provided by the manufacturers. The problem with that is that none of us has infallible gun handling.

The problem with that is that none of us has infallible gun handling. It isn’t a case of arrogance; it is simply a fact that my gun handling is safe because I DONT use a safety! My gun is either unloaded, loaded but broken, or empty, but in whatever state with the muzzles never ever pointing anywhere but in a safe direction! It’s not rocket science! It’s simplicity itself! What is it that makes that so difficult to understand. For the umpteenth time of asking, infallible or otherwise, if you can describe to me a scenario where a safety will prevent anyone from being shot, then describe it.
