Personally, in the many years I have been a member, I have always had great sound advice and, on a few occasions, they have helped overturn conditions imposed on my FAC renewals as well as providing other advice etc. Recently, I contacted them with regards to a firearms question, and they promised to look into it. I had a phone call this afternoon from a Mr Simon Vann, who had made that promise, and explained everything to me. I don't wish to divulge the details, but will say that there's nothing wrong. As Ive said before , they helped me back in 2014 when I had an issue with Notts firearms. Any issues that I have with BASC have always been at policy / strategy level. Thanks Steve, that is good of you to take the time to give positive feedback on the advice you got from Simon, who helps so many members. BASC members have free unlimited access to our dedicated firearms team, with a full-time specialist in each region. Every week we take around 140 firearms calls (that is more than 7,000 calls per year) from members, on top of our existing case work.
