Hi All,i have recentley been told by farmer on land i shoot over i cant shoot the pigeons anymore on the land as there are apparently there are nesting skylarks and lapwings nesting on land.this comes from newcastle city council and a as yet unknown source as to when survey was carried out to determine such nest sites they say this has come from some department down south as yet not known who.i as a member of the N.G.O. raised this with them who had not heard of this issue at all and are looking into it,today recieved an email from them saying they are still investigating but up to now have come across 1 other case down the south.anyone on here had an issue as yet or know of any new rules regarding skylarks and lapwing protection laws and shooting?
