bone
Evening all I have just been asked to shoot crows and rooks that have been doing damage on the greens of a golf course. Would the greens be classed as a crop under GL 42. Would appreciate any feedback. Cheers bone.

London Best
I thought crows could be shot under a general licence which covered public health? Surely that would apply on a golf course? We all know how important golf is considered to be.

bone
Thanks for all replies. Looks like golf course will have to apply to natural England...... Good luck with that.
Fellside
Carrion crows yes: 'conserving wild birds of conservation concern'. We all have a few red listers nearby. Have a look at the BASC gen licence summary - quite useful.
bone
Yes I agree fellside. I'm going to ask them, have they ever had a bird survey done being a links course they probably have. 🤞
