I could'nt agree more and maybe the old pi** taking will return to that level again .It was a good thread ,one of many with several posting at the same time ...........Then again I like most have a few thousand post under my belt and it's good to see that from 2005 some are still on here now but like a long term marriage the excitement soon go's .........Any idea's how to spice things up :good::good:

i think a lot of the heated threads would finish the same given the chance.

i had a real bad start with a young man from right up north on here at one time.

but it run it course and he,s been to my house and we have shot together a couple of times, he,s a good lad. but had the thread been axed, who knows.

One of the problems is that when a forum gets bigger you also get more people involved in a 'controversial' topic. Therefore such a topic would run for much longer, with a lot more posts and a greater chance of a serious disagreement. This is why mods have to be relatively more proactive now.

Makes sense that, when threads are closed there's little chance for working it out as who'll start another one :good:
