A solid piece of British gunsmithing history.  A friend has one and he has shot a LOT of pigeon and game and foxes with it. ....And a price.?

Price is in the title 🤦‍♂️🤓🤣

First shotgun I ever fired was the deluxe version of this with checkering and I think a walnut stock & forend about 50yrs ago!  If it had have been one of those I would have had it.  GLWS it looks a bargain at that price!

Don't suppose this is the deluxe version with the checkered semi pistol grip and forend is it?

Those two posts don't seem to make sense.  You can see in the pictures that the stock and forend are not checkered.  They are the standard walnut furniture. It is a standard sort of shotgun that a keeper would have had. It's not flashy, it's just a solid quality gun.  Last year I bought an AyA cosmos at auction and I doubt if had ever had a box of cartridges through it in it's entire life. And it looked like it had stood on the rubber butt plate for most of it's existence because the toe had sort of rolled over a bit.  I  bought it because I  always fancied one.  Ideal for mooching round the pens or standing forward waiting fóŕ Charlie to come through the seweling line

That model was my first shotgun in 1966. I paid £12 for it. I still shoot with the seller to this day. I was just married, he was selling it because he was getting married   !  😄

I recall it kicked like a Donkey, with 32 gram cartridges.   😂

Oh, and the licence was 10 shillings (50p) from the local Post Office.
