Hello, For those 2 rifles i would go 16mm with a low magnification scope , either AO or SF starting 3 or 4 X 40 or 50 if you want shoot in low light, Oh and your most likely need to Extend the Stock, i needed 20 mm on my CZ 455,

AO

Hello, That should do ok , I used mine just over 4 mag but once you set up your Pard you can adjust accordingly , although my scope was a side focus , with any luck you should be able to set both scopes same,

I have a 16mm pard on a 4x32 AO scope on an air rifle for night time ratting. It is fine if the rats are 25 yard shots but once the range gets below 15/10 yards (which often happens with rats) I find the magnification is too much and the rats are difficult to locate in the scope, especially as they don’t stay still for many seconds. If buying again I would opt for the 12mm version.

I use a 16 mm version with a 3-12 x50 sidewinder on my hmr and it works well but I would go with the 12 mm as the 16 mm will increase the size of the ret and will only start at 1.5x mag where as the 12 mm is 1x I believe  . I also don’t find the need for an extra ir but I do use a butt pad extender .

Hello, I used a 16 mm on my sub 12 air rifle and CZ 455 , Between the 12 and 16 is very debatable but i did find the 16 not quite ideal for ratting at short ranges but excellent on the 455, I agree on the I/R and butt extender although i could not get use to this set up N/V ,
