JDog
This morning after collecting the dogs from kennels I had a drive round and found these four fields with pigeons on. They were all poor rape which had been sprayed and then topped. The result is a double whammy of pigeon food, rape seed and fresh green rape shoots on the old stalks. (apart from the weeds) I'm hoping for thunder to knock some winter barley over but none forecast. This new-fangled short-straw stuff is too robust! Wilts#Dave
Now that looks an interesting proposition Jdog, surprised at the seed in pod already but that along with shoots must be very inviting to pigeons at this time of year! Fill your boots!
