steve_b_wales
Does anyone own the above? I'm looking for something with a small screen and a detachable keyboard. I've got a 10.1" tablet and a 15" screen laptop but need something smaller/ lighter. This will be used mainly to take on holidays for emailing etc. I don't want to spend too much on one as it would only be used 2-3 times a year. ph5172
I purchased a small laptop from Amazon warehouse for that exact purpose along with transferring photos from phone to a stand alone HDD. it’s not brilliant by any means with soldered RAM and a Small SSD, reg screen quality will not win any awards but it does it’s job and for £40 I really can’t complain and I won’t cry if it gets broke! edited as I didn’t realise you had a model in mind. there are a few small chromebooks on Amazon warehouse for £120 ish Edited August 4 by ph5172

As you mentioned, there's loads of Chromebooks out there at varying prices. I don't want to pay more that £300 if possible. I'll take another look later. henry d
Can you get a Bluetooth keyboard for your tablet? I used to have one for my galaxy and used it to work while commuting on the train

phaedra1106
You can pick up a Lenovo Miix 520 on Ebay for well under £200, much, much better than a Chromebook. Intel I5 cpu, 8Gb ram, upgradeable to 16Gb, nVme fast hard drive (easily swapped for a larger capacity if needed) Full HD 12" touch screen, detachable keyboard, USB A and C ports. Had one myself and have bought a few for friends. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2505460.m570.l1313&_nkw=lenovo+miix+520&_sacat=0 Or if you fancy a smaller laptop (non-detachable screen) look for a Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G2 Edited August 5 by phaedra1106

I think this will till all the boxes. The only downside is a 3 month warranty. Edited August 6 by steve_b_wales
