Jonty
I did some ribs at the weekend, they turned out really well. I know that supermarket ribs can be a bit skinny with not much meat, and specialty butchers bbq ribs can be a bit expensive. Farm Foods do frozen racks of St Louis cut ribs for £12 and I have to say that they are really pretty good. They weigh in at around 1.3kg-1.7kg and after a couple of trial runs, I’d thoroughly recommend them.

They look great 👌🏻, A small side of skin on fries and I’d be sorted 😋 🤤

You could do them in the oven, but they really need to be done at around 110c-120c for a good 4-5 hours to be nice and soft.
amateur
To get really soft ribs, I used to steam them in foil with matchsticks of fresh ginger, garlic and smoky barbecue seasoning, then cook up a sticky sauce of maple syrup, tomato puree, the meat juices and bourbon, paint it on the ribs and sear on the barbecue or in a hot oven. Nowadays I just put them in the slow cooker overnight with the aromatics, and knock up the same sticky sauce and roast off as before. Really succulent and tasty.
