steve_b_wales
Is it just me that is sick and tired of seeing the above on television, especially the BBC? Yet another reporter (Jon Kay) is now out there to report on this. No doubt, travelled there first class and put up in a top class hotel all at our expense! Just how many more reporters do they need. I wonder if the American TV stations spend so much time reporting our our general election etc?
udderlyoffroad
I haven't had a TV licence in 5 years so have not watched the BBC's coverage, and I'm a bit of closet US politics junky, so safe to say I'm not in the same boat as you. That said, I checked out of the BBC's coverage of the US a lot longer than 5 years ago, as I found it completely one-sided and lacking in any journalistic curiosity. It could be argued that the occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania ave has quite an impact on your everyday life in Britain; The US Foreign and Energy policy impacts far more what you pay for food and energy than whatever the current UK government does.
