ollie
What is your reaction to smithy's move across the penines to the THEATRE OF DREAMS? As a Man U fan I am delighted that he has signed because of the passion and desire that he gives when he is playing although he is not an out and out goal scorer and in my opinion he should be on his way to Portugal this summer. jonno 357
I think Town will bottle it on Monday. Watched them against Mansfield and they played like Leeds Jonno :(
ollie
I was at the mansfield game aswell and they were ****e but they were without sodj and schofield. But I was also at the second leg of the semi and the spirit they showed from 2-0 down was brilliant.
jonno 357
Town did it then Ollie Now only 1 division between Town and the feeder club down the road Jonno
ollie
Yeah they did it, it was one of the bests 0-0 games I have seen it was end to end (and they also got a bit of luck at the end when mansfield had the goal disallowed). Next season town will consolidate in division 2 and Leeds will get relegated into division 2.
Fisherman Mike
Contrary to what you Leeds supporters feel about the defection of Alan Smith it is the best thing he could have done.... He is the only thing which is good about their team in the last 10 years. Ferguson will harness the raw aggression he has and turn him into one of the best strikers in Europe... Mark my words... Similar to the way Brian Clough took the Sub-Human Phsycopath, Kenny Burns from Birmingham and turned him into the finest defender in Europe and Eropean footballer of the year in the 1070,s Leeds committed the same cardinal sin as my team West Ham.... They both dismissed exceptionally good managers and have paid the ultimate price... I fear both Clubs will now languish in the 1st Division for several seasons, massive support or not... Alex Furguson said at the beginning of the season that it is easier to win the European cup than it is to get out of the first division...!! and he is perfectly right. Pain? you dont know what pain is until youve been a West Ham supporter!!!! Bring on the Leeds...

ernyha
Just think FM if you hadn't scored in the last game of the season against Wigan, Palace wouldn't have even been in the play offs after we had beaten them 2-1. See you and YP at Highfield Rd next season then.
Fisherman Mike
YP I usually meet up with my mates at the Duke in Wandswell or The Spotted Dog in Barking. Anybody with a Gloucestershire accent is construed as a cider boy in the East End and would be lucky to escape with their gonads intact if drinking nearer the ground! Ern I have played at Highfield road as a Schoolboy in the mid 70,s, Cryril Regis was playing for the opposing team and he was 8ft tall even at 17. He kicked the pants off me. Thank God we have to play the sky blues next season at least that is 6 points guaranteed for us Irons!! regards FM.
