DanT
How do. Here’s a mint condition 12 Gauge Winchester 120 Ranger, I’m only selling as I need some cabinet space. there is an ‘issue’ with it, in that the follower has an aftermarket one fitted (which very occasionally works out) I have the original one which will come with it, I just don’t have the knowledge or skill to re fit it. id imagine once it’s fitted it’ll be sound. fires flawlessly, never skipped a beat, cycles as smooth as you like. Based near Chesterfield and near the M1. Priced to be the cheapest around due to the follower. £150.

I was going to say if it was S1 I may be interested if another deal I’m pursuing falls flat. They are terrific guns, and that synthetic one is bombproof, a proper workhorse. Good luck with the sale. 👍 23 minutes ago, Acerforestry said: Going by the mag length, its Section 2 All ( or most ) semi autos and pumps exported to the UK are S1 ( the standard magazine holds five , as would the OP’s gun as seen and in its original condition ) and are either converted to S2 with a crimp or permanent ‘bung’, or left as is and sold as S1. scarecrow243
it does not come out the loading port it has to come out the other end but since it has been crimped it won't come out plus the metal one won't go back in

smokingdragon
Some use a loctite type thread lock which can be softened using a heat gun, or so I've been told.
DanT
No longer on hold, still for sale. I purchased this as my first gun in 2010, from a male in Nottinghamshire, since then it’s been meticulously looked after and cleaned. I’ve kept the original follower with it, I have no idea how it goes back in, as said before, I’ve always used the orange one. 3 inch steel shot proof. Did you or a previous owner have the gun proofed for steel? Is there a Fleur de lys stamp on the chamber? Winchester had a habit of stamping their barrels ‘Winchester Proofed Steel’ as a marketing ploy, to signify the strength of their barrels, but if there is no Fleur de lys stamp then I’m afraid it’s not UK proof house steel shot proofed. Not steel shot proofed then, just says steel on it. *******hell it’s difficult to sell on here isn’t it 😂

Honestly I’m not picking on you, and if I wasn’t chasing an elusive 1300XTR I’d have that off you. Anyone looking for a bomb proof knockabout gun couldn’t do better than that gun you have. 👍

PMs replied to this morning 👍 It was all done years ago before the "STEEL" debate started, it has caused an awful lot of confusion across many gun makes over the years. Good luck with the sale, it will make someone a very good hide gun.
DanT
This has had a trip to a gunsmith, it’s fully sorted now, 100% working condition. £250 buys it (still the cheapest online), would consider swap / part x with a moderated .410/20g if any are available. “but you wanted £150 last week..” that’s correct.
