MM Try a 'cream of horseradish' as although they do vary in heat, the majority I have tried calling themselves 'cream of' are not so hot. You could always add a smidgen into the gravy at the last minute, which certainly makes a difference even if you can't fully taste it. You can do this with many condiments/sauces 🙂 THANKS for your advice , I have just had a nice fresh warm cheese roll with the leftover slices of Beef , I smeared the top with Coleman's Horse Radish Sauce and it wasn't that bad , not as strong as the home made stuff we used to buy , a nice little snack and the rolls themselves were very nice , Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

marsh man Posted 11 hours ago Author Report Share Posted 11 hours ago 2 hours ago, ditchman said: you are certainly getting things together on the old cooking front ...well done john Apart from the veg most of my food is either pre cooked or it's a case of following the instructions , I do allocate a certain amount of time in both preparing and cooking but I just cannot spend half the afternoon getting a meal for one ready , as it was a mild afternoon I did take my gun with me tonight , had a yarn with one of the ex members ( Answer 2 ) before it got dark , the ole boy is getting slow now after having heart problems and two minor strokes , left him as he was then going home and I went and sat near a nice splash of water , shot a lovely drake Mallard with my first shot and then brought back down to earth with missing the next one , even though my dog could see alright my staying down there in the dark is now behind me , might have the latest duck over Christmas but I have already got a brace of Pheasants and will get another brace on Friday so it look as if duck and long tails will be on the menu over the rest of the season , Anytime you want a duck or pheasant just let me know and I will send it up to the kings county by air mail .
