marsh man
I only had around a third of a bag of Skinners dog food left so on Christmas day I ordered a bag on line , the price at our garden centre is just over £33 and on Amazon it was just over £22 with free standard delivery , due to the holidays they timed delivery between the 3rd and the 6th of January , I just got back home yesterday and the Amazon Prime van pulled up and a young very polite lad brought it to my door and asked if I wanted him to take it inside , I have got a bench just near my front door and he kindly put it on there ,he wished me a happy new year and then he was on his way , we moan at times about poor delivery and so on but I speak as I find and the service I had after ordering a bag of dogs grub on Christmas day ,roughly £10 cheaper and fast free delivery to your door , oh and the sell by date was July 2025 , can you wonder why they are doing so well . Skinners were pretty good , we used to buy 3 or 4 of the small bags at there game fair prices and in the bag they put them in was a voucher for £5 off your next 15 kilo bag , at the time a 15 kilo bag was about 15 quid and with the voucher that made them about a tenner , slightly different nowadays .
