I found yet more rump steak in one of the freezers, prepared more of the bargain Christmas vegetables and had a good dinner. I made a simple jue with pepper and Worcestershire Sauce. LOVELY JUBBLY.  :good:

It look big enough to go in the centre of the dining table and the family help themselves , the whole plateful look very nice and a good way to use up some of last years goodies , you might well have a bit left over for tomorrow , my four legged disposal unit don't believe in leaving anything till the following day

Mine is on the go now and not even a Chicken egg amongst it 😋

Looks a bit dry,,,, hope you had plenty of that JUS to pour over it, not just that little puddle in the 1st picture ? 😀 😉

Yes I had just enough and finished it off with a spoon.

I left a little trail through the kitchen which I cleaned up after the meal.

The trail was about 6 foot long...........................:w00t:

That just reminded me about a story that my mates wife told me .

She said that the first time he invited her to his flat , the thing that she remembered most , was the trail of food leading from the cooker , to the sofa , that had been walked into the carpet 😁.

I remember another mates wife telling me about the first time he invited her to his place for a meal . She looked into the saucepan,  and the meal was a tin of tomatoes and a tin of peas , all boiled together 😁.

I've got some pretty classy mates 😁.

That's why you always come across as the GOOD GUY!

The last time I prepared a meal for us both , was when we both had covid a couple of years back .

It was a slice of bread and butter each , and a bag of plain crisps to share 😁.

That's just reminded me of the time I tried to wash up when I had covid . I had the whole brain fog thing quite bad for a week or so , and when I put a plate into the sink to wash it , I just couldn't figure out how to get water out of the tap . She just said  " don't worry , it's just because you've never washed up before". 😁
