I have a problem with my Vulcan carbine in as much that the barrel moves off face after firing just a few shots and loses power. A tap on the muzzle puts it right for a few more shots then the same thing happens. It has never had open sights on it as long as i have owned it and i have been told by one or two that the barrel was originally glued into the breech block .I was wondering if the two grub screws that hold the rear sight base in place actually fix the  barrel as well. If the barrel is just bonded in place any ideas what adhesive was or could be used.?  Thanks in advance.

I dont think the rear sight screws hold it?

if you can remove the barrel. Clean it and inside your block use JB weld it should hold fine, make sure your barrel is fully flush with cylinder face as when it sets, it sets very strongly. 👍😊

That sounds like a plan thanks snarepeg.
