samboy
Hi gang. I've got one of these and when i look through it i can see what i'm looking at. But if i press the off button i can still see through it as if it doesn't shut off but the modes are working ok. I thought by pressing the off button i wouldn't be able to see through it. Is this right ?. Thanks all.
steve_b_wales
I think it will automatically switch off. Have you left it for a while and then looked through it?
scarecrow243
you can see thru hand held range finders its only the different modes that turn on and off
Newbie to this
You will always be able to see through the LRF 600, what you shouldn't be able to see if it is off is the aim dot (i think it's a dot, itbeen so long since I used mine). samboy
Yes i have left it for a while but it still stays on. I'm sure when i looked through it it was off when i turned it on.

Spr1985
Im in agreement with the other gents, I have the 400 version and the way I would explain it is that it’s like looking through a window when off and then when turned on it has superimposed/ digitally displayed bits (aim circle/lines, distance numbers etc )within the viewing area off:- on:- Edited February 2 by Spr1985
