Hello folks, yes it's me again asking questions :good:

Been having a mooch all over the tinternet today can't seem to find the info I need.

Just wanted to know please what is the best Silencer for my BSA Airsporter S .22 ?

Also if I fit one will I lose any performance, also how long do these silencers last, like if it's second hand would there be no worries of one giving up ?

Tim.

what is the fitting on the barrel for a silencer?

as for life span as long as its not been abused a 2nd hand one will be fine. if you have a tread on the end to screw it on to I would go for a Air Arms, logun or a Weihrauch.

See you've got a Typhoon on your list of guns Mr Relivingmyyouth

Hope it's a proper over-lever classic & not the more recent break-barrel ones.

Now here's a proper plinking pistol... a Hurricane!

Mine's circa 1981 & in reasonably good nick.

May just have to get it out of the loft & give it a whirl for the first time in a while.LOL

Unfortunatly it's the new one. My brother had the old one 30 yrs ago and it was good but as a ten year old kid I couldn't cock it. However me and my lad get loads of fun out my .22 typhoon. Best £50 I've spent for a very long time. I even killed a big fat woodie with it. Trouble was, I was aiming to miss !!!! :good:
