ShaggyRS6
I use the Deerhunter Range, both the Montana and Europe range. I was wondering if there is anything warmer that you guys use. What is the Musto or Deben range like?
Guest The Outlaw
I have metioned this site before to others but they do Camo clothing as well. The best bit of kit by a mile imho. Guest The Outlaw
I have the plain suit and have just ordered the extra set of mid layer thermals as these were'nt available when I got this. Really warm stops body smell getting out so its ideal for stalking in and soooo comfortable and dry. I hope you like it. Tony
henry d
Sorry to burst your bubble but mine leaks like a seive, the fleece is poorly made(the liner is falling apart) however it has many useful pockets.
Guest The Outlaw
Which one do you have HenryD? Is it an old one or quite new? I have worn this one for nearly 3 years and it still fully waterproof, it goes in the washing machine every month same with the bottoms, the only thing I had an issue with was the fleece linning came away at the shoulder but I sewed it up and its fine now. caeser
I've got to say, I've got a Jahti Jakt full set, that I've had for 2 years and I can't fault it. The fleece is worn every day during the winter months as I use it for work. The 2 sets of thermal underwear are really warm. trousers are extremely comfortable, as is the jacket. I've worn it in the rain and it didn't leak, although I've never been out in a torrential downpour, which is I believe, when they let water through. Im not so much concerned about them being downpour proof. I just want the warmth TBH as I am a southern softies with a bad, back, legs, foot I dont go out in downpours if I can help it I now have my super duper hide to help me. Guest The Outlaw
Pirate and Calam will tell you what stupid things I have done in this suit. With my wide brimmed Auzzie hat I stood under the edge of a tent with gallons of water falling on me for ages and it didnt get through. And doing other wet activities it has never let me down. I can only see a leak happening if you tear or punture the tight fabric. Tony
