henry d
I`ve mixed them and used them separately too and can`t see the difference, I do like to see some heads up and a lot feeding as to me this seems more natural, but does it look right to a pigeon ?? Who knows ??

Cranfield
I mix shells and full bodied decoys and have no evidence it bothers the pigeons. They see shape, numbers and movement, thats what attracts them.
Edward
Thanks I thought that if they saw half a pigeon and a whole pigeon they would not come into the deeks.
fortune
No probs. I use the halfs outside of the pack and at the end where they come in leaving the fulls to the point where the birds are going to land. I have shot pigeon on a straw and tailings lump where they have come in and have been walking around the flapper. They didn't seem to be aware that the pigeon on the flapper was suspended in mid air so it is the same with decoys. Some of my decoys have seen better days and some of the paint has come off. They still draw them in just as they always did.
SAVAGE HMR
I don't think it makes the slightest bit of difference to be honest, if it looks real to you it'll look real to a pigeon.
