PTaylor2k4
SAS Boot Knife from 22nd SAS base in Hereford. This was given to me from someone who was there. Comes with the knife (obviously) and the leather sheath. Offers Welcome, looking for around £30. Taylor
Cranfield
I had one of those, absolutely 100% identical. However, I don,t think mine had been within 100 miles of the SAS. When carrying knives, that had no obvious function became very dodgy (this is a stabbing knife), I handed it into the Police.
PTaylor2k4
Its definantly from 22nd, the guy who gave it to me asked me if i wanted to go to the firearms factory there to help out, but i said no, too far away. I know its a stabbing knife but people might collect stuff like this or want it for some other reason. Taylor
Fisherman Mike
Cranfield is right Taylor this is not a"survival" knife it is designed for one purpose only and that is to take human life. I am suprised the Guy gave it to you. If I were you I would dispose of it discreetly and ceratinly not advertise it. FM.

I'm not looking to cause argument here, i was just wondering why you are so bothered about the life of people and not the lives of certain animals. I'm not a psycho, i just wanted to ask. Taylor P.S. Dont flame this message it was just a curious question for mike.

Cranfield
None of my comments were meant to be "hostile", I was just stating a fact. I am also naturally cynical when "ex SAS" stuff appears anywhere. The SAS are not noted for giving anything away. By your question to FM , are you seriously suggesting that the life of any animal, bird etc., is more important than that of a human being ? If you happened to be stopped by police on your scootie and were carrying that thing it would be not good for you. And as Cranfield says the SAS are not noted for giving things away. One of my close Family is ex SAS and he doesnt even talk about it.. If the MOD thought that SAS members were giving these things away the s..t would really hit the fan. If you have no use for it take it down the police station and surrender it you will ceratinly earn some credits with the Local Plod. FM.

pigeon master
Hi PT, Whats the serial number on this knife? I didnt think it would have one, its a cheap copy of the real thing. Your mate seems to be in dreamworld if he is offering to take you to the firearms factory..Most of the weapons used are the american beefed up M16 and the HK53 and HKMP5, so I guess when you said its a long way you didnt want to go to USA or GERMANY. FM is right in saying that the hereford lads dont tell persons what they do or who they are, unless your in the forces already. So Just ask your mate what troop he is in, I think he is pulling your ******. Stick to shooting buddy, and not trying to sell knifes that have come from the boys. Happy shooting. PTaylor2k4
i didnt say hes in the SAS, i know hes not. But he did get it from the 22nd SAS base because he does down some weeks with a guy whos ex sas, hes the guy that owns the factory. And yes he does get H&K guns in and AR/M16 guns and its in the UK. Its not a cheap copy but if no one wants it i'll keep it. Like i said dont flame the comments ***. FM, no offence to you i thought that was pretty funny about my 'scootie' Taylor

Lurch
I couldn't disagree more with those saying to turn it in, might as well tell the lad to hand in his airguns (assuming you've got any!). Provided you don't carry the thing around with you, there is absolutely no prohibition against a knife like this. Ergo perfectly legal to have in your home. As implied by one or two others though - absolutely do not carry around with you.
