taz24
How in gods name do i get it of off Glass and Metal, I got some on the car I would try polishing it out. As Jerico says using T cut. I'm not sure about break fluid though that might remove more than you want. Cheers taz.
codling99
a razor will get it off glass ,cutting compound should get it off paint
Cranfield
Doesn't it tell you on the tin, or is there a helpline number ? T Cut would be my first option (after reading the tin and making the phone call). I certainly wouldn't use brake fluid, I have seen what that can do to paintwork. ShaggyRS6
Well i spent all chuffin day day polishing the stuff out. The RS6 looks really nice now. sidibear
Industrial wipes like Gorilla wipes are good. Gentle on paintwork too

Did not bother on the Lndy as it goes in for a respray on Monday Thanks guys for pointing me in the right direction might be a good idea to warn them when it goes in to be sprayed. If the paint is at all porous and its got absorbed the re-spray won't stick to anywhere there are any residues of the water seal
ShaggyRS6
I assumed they will sand it down 1st Alex
ShaggyRS6
Another Question. The car goes in for respray Monday. NATO green. I am thinking about getting the Chequer Plate on the front done in the same colour. Thoughts? Its the standard ali colour right now.
webber
If you want a decent job you must tell them about your misguided application of Thompson's. Really, trying to stop a lady from leaking with that stuff, how amateur. The ally plates look good self coloured, but as you want the vehicle for shooting you will want to avoid reflections. webber

The feedback was Thompsons. Edited January 19, 2008 by ShaggyRS6
webber
Blast! If I had realised it was a milestone post I would have done a better job, and really gone for it. Would you like me to edit my post? webber

ShaggyRS6
I will clean it off. Ok? In faact I will do it whilst you work out why my window washer comes through the dashboard and not on the window Call it a crate of Clay Carts? webber
Nah, I like it how it is. Landys leak, everything. Its just about how much, what and where. Then how often you have to top it up, or let it out, as the case may be. Sweet dreams. If you struggle dropping off, try counting your pound coins dropping into your mechanics till. webber
ShaggyRS6
It actually dont leak. the only reason i done it was someone on a landy forum said the Canvas looked **** *shrug*. It still looks exactly the same as before, except now it stinks
webber
But your window washer cleanses your dashboard, not a feature that I've noticed on other vehicles. If you reckon that yours isnt leaking elsewhere then fair enough, but dont let your guard down as it soon will. webber
