dustyfox
I went out walking in the woods last night with no torch or lamp and I hit a hawthorn bush which i didnt see, luckily it cut my nose and not my eyes. Funny thing was I never noticed till i got home. Put some glue on it to close it, so that what the drop is.

Hunter
More chance of getting MSRA or other nasty bugs if you go to Hospital rather then out in the wild. You will be fine! Always keep wounds well cleaned (water is usually enough for light stuff) and get it patched up. Oh and everyone outdoors should have Tetanus jabs up to date, for those barbed wire fence incidents etc.. Now you have to put up with explaining to everyone who asks what happened to your nose, thats the worst part

Mungler
It's because of the cold that you felt nothing. Well hard for the super glue business. Me, I would be crying like a baby and demanding that the missus bring me tea in bed all day
Sprinter
Jeez, shouldn't there have been a content warning on this thread or something scared me half to death

SteveieP
The stuff we know as "superglue" was originally developed to do what you have just used it for. If you ever wondered why it was so good at sticking your finger ends together, that's the reason. A quick way to close wounds without leaving a big scar. Docter Steve says have a tetanus jab every 10 years & keep your nose clean.
Cranfield
That looks as though it might have stung a bit. I think we are all a bit careless wandering around woods in the half light, I have a few scars around my eyes caused by wayward twigs and brambles. Its best not to broadcast this too much or the Elf & Safety will have us wearing safety glasses (probably not a bad idea).
