With the mild winters or total lack of winters people are sseing young all year round. I know that Myself, MC, Farmerguy.22 were out ferretting with Ferretboy111 in january last year and the first bury we had to dig the fert out as it holed up on a nest of young un's that couldn't have been more than afew days old, pink and with fur just coming through.

Why do you ask, you seen some???

SS has pretty much answered your question.

Try to remember that little un soon become big uns. Young are usually very easy to shoot, but by doing so you could easily deprive yourself of future sport, and food.

My advise is that unless your brief from the farmer is to eradicate the rabbits, leave the young for September onwards.

hi guys just wonderd what time of year do you guys start to see young rabbits.

I was out for a run last night and picked up 2 half grown bunnies. along with 3 adults.

They will brred pretty much al year round if its mild.

I deal with rabbits for control pest control purposes and will actively take them all year round, by what ever means (except ferreting from now until next season)
