henry d
Yesterday I started a new brew and it has been a while since this was brought up. Soooooo who brews their own and what do you do/use....... ?? I have 40 pints of Porter(Muntons Gold) fizzing away in the front room, yes I`m working class, and when that goes into the pressure barrel I will be starting 40 pints of heavy(as above). I also usually do a few pint Grolsch bottles of each brew as this settles quicker and you have an idea of how good it is and therefore if you are going to scupper it all yourself, or if it`s just average who you are going to invite round to finish it quicker. I also make a bit of scrumpy now and again but haven`t for 3 years and I hope to make a new and bigger press this year using a hydraulic press  I also make sloe gin when theres a good crop of sloes as there has been for the past 3 years ! Cheers !!
