Cranfield
I have never ever wormed ferrets and don't know anyone else that has.
lurcherboy
I don't as it is widely accepted that due to their very short digestive tract they are very unlikely to get worms. I am sure someone else will with a sound knowledge of ferrets will post soon or you could allways ask your Vet. LB
rizla
i used to own ferrets for years, and used to worm them every couple of months, the bottle i had was like a tablet bottle with a sticker on it saying, ferret worm powder give one pinch twice a week. that was it. im sure a baught it from arthur carter field sports. get in touch with them see what they say
Cranfield
LB is right, its very unusual for ferrets to get worms, in fact I have never heard of it. If you think your ferrets are losing weight, or looking sickly, take them to the Vets. Its not a good idea to treat them yourself, unless you are very experienced. SPEEDY
I use "Revolution" drops, it does intestine worms, heart worms, flees and ticks, thats probably a bit more important down here where it's warmer then up there but even if it's not I still have to do him for fleas so whats the harm in covering all my bases.
