Melonfish
it appears to use primer caps, what the legal status of these in the uk then? don't you now need an FAC to buy primer caps? pete
Big_Sam
These would be classed as exploding ammounition and as such as illegal under Section 5 of the firearms act.
bob300w
Rifle and pistol primers need a FAC. Two obvious problems with this scheme, 1/ Accuracy, no way could you get a primer dead central on the pellet, this would play havoc with accuracy, and 2/ a primer would not explode on hitting a rabbit, it's unlikely, even if it hit a bone. If you take the law to the letter, it's also illegal, it's exploding ammunition.
Mungler
If you botch the sticking on / affixing bit to the pellet I would have thought the chance of it going off when the pellet is fired to be rather high. People have been doing daft things with airguns since the dawn of time.

BSA Shaun
If you can't hit and kill it with a normal pellet, put the gun up for sale and take up knitting

smokingdragon
I used to grind up match heads and stick the powder in pellets. They also went bang when hitting a hard surface. Simon
