bob300w
When the faulty petrol, causing oxygen analysers to burn out, was sold by Morrisons, any body that had this problem was told to contact a firm of loss adjusters who would arrange payment to individuals for the damage caused. I believe that this petrol was only sold in East Anglia. Did anybody actually receive payment? I contacted them, and was told to send the original (not copies) documents, petrol receipt and garage bill (£200). I kept copies for myself. After months of hearing nothing I contacted them, and was told that they had lost my receipts. Stupidly, I sent them my copies. I then received a phone call, after sending them many emails, over many months, (all of which received the same reply, send us more receipts, ?) saying that my claim was not valid, as I did not have the original receipts. My question is, is mine an isolated case, or did they pull this scam on everybody who attempted to claim?
Cranfield
Contact the AA and/or RAC, they will have received numerous complaints if this was a scam.

I've given up on it Cran, there is a limit as to how much of your life that you can waste beating your head against a brick wall before you walk away, I was just curious as whether everbody with a claim had been treated as I was. I did contact the AA at the time, they didn't bother to reply. Obviously, I have not bought any petrol from Morrisons since.

jonno 357
If you were walking down the aisles and some of this fell out of your pocket it would be a shame. Not that I would be walking around with this in my pocket or implying antything untowards(Ethyl Hexyl Acrylate)or (2-mercaptoethanol). I reckon the store would orclosed for the day It does have a strong odour

Hunter
Whenever I send documents regarding money or legal issues I send them recorded. That way I can PROVE they have the documents. Never had any problems so far.
bob300w
Whenever I send documents regarding money or legal issues I send them recorded. That way I can PROVE they have the documents. Never had any problems so far. In this case, it would have nade no difference, they admitted receiving the receipts and they admitted losing them, they then, after I posted the copies, told me they had the wrong dates on them.
