countryman
Hi I have an opportunity to buy what appears to be a nice little Winchester diamond grade skeet gun in 12G. It has ported barrels and the gun in general to me looks to be in a very tidy condition. So what I was woundering is how much should I pay for something like this and what are these guns reputation like? I think they stopped making them about 20 or so years ago, so it has a little bit of age to it. Any advice is much appreciated Cheers Chris
Harnser
Generally winchester shotguns are very good and of good quality . Dont worry about the age of the gun ,if its in good condition it will give you a life time of service . Harnser .

Yep, I've still got my 3" 101 Xtr, it's been on the shore with me for the past 20 odd years, and not a hiccup. i'm expecting it to see me out. Gordon R
If it is mint nick - I would go to £500. If it is not as new, I would be hoping to get it for £350, but would go to £400. They are excellent guns, with no faults. Had quite a few. It might be worth more, but Skeet guns do not resell particularly well.
countryman
Ok thanks guys. By the look of it I would say the gun is in mint condition. I dont think I will be able to buy it for any less than the top end estimate, but I am a sucker for a pretty gun. Cheers Chris

JRDS
I have a Supergrade and they are fantastic guns. In the unlikely event you do ever need spares then : http://www.midwestgunworks.com/merchant2/m...ester-model-

Gordon R
For spares:- Chris Showler. He bought up all the factory spares when they closed down. http://www.doublegunshop.com/showler.htm He does export to UK.
