Inflatable "field" Seats

I've been umming and ahhing about getting one of these inflatable field seats (Orvis do one for £18!) for pigeon and getting comfy whilst wildfowl flighting.

Like a lot of folk I had problems sitting happily cross-legged at school and am finding that I'm getting uncomfortable as an adult crouching/kneeling/sitting whilst waiting for the duck to come in.

Can anyone recommend a make or outlet for them or should I just shutup and "take the pain"...

Ta

Try one of those thick foam kneeling pads that are sold for gardening duties, they are about 1" thick and about 14"x7" wide i bought mine from po@nd stret*&er for only ? ( there is a clue in the name of the shop) and they are very light and easy to put into your bag, providing its not full of duck or empties.

Does anyone in the UK sell swivel shooting seats/sticks ?

I have been looking for one for some time.

Jono, I bought a waterproof bag, about 12"x8" and stuffed it with a foam block.

I then put it on my adjustable shooting stick and sit on it.

The bag came from a Fishing Tackle Shop and was called a "stash bag", or something similar, costs about £5.

You could probably make something similar for a few pence. :)

I use the front seat from an old Volvo, ok its heavy to carry in my game bag but with a good coat of Dubbin on it the leather comes up a treat and can be left out in the hedge for months in all weathers, what ! what ! what ! and in the short luls you can recline it and nod off. lol .............im looking out for a Chesterfield chair to have on my pheasant shoot to place at my peg also as recliners dont have the back support for those high birds.

Deako - spot on!

May wait until a US trip before getting summat like that.

Have just thought that one of those foam gardening "kneeler" pads might do just as well to keep me bum off the cold sod and theres less to go wrong than an inflatable one..

Thanks again
