tiercel
Nice one Sparkie, thats an early field of barley eh? If that is the field that he was shooting on then I would say that it was arable silage, where they sow spring barley on grass then cut it when they ears of barley are still green and treat it as silage. SPARKIE
wouldnt like to say if it was for silage .i was very supprised to find it cut farmer never said a thing about cutting it.was just out on the quad bike reccying somme pigeon flight lines and noticed them going over a brook and landing on the field i thought why can i see them landing on the barley then it dawned on me hes cut it so will be going again today at 3pm for anouther round
al4x
yep as said must be whole crop silage as barley isn't even ready in the south yet. Still looks like good sport!
