tweedledee
hi guys i`m going through a dilemma at the moment and i can`t explain why.last year i was out of bed at the crack of dawn on every available day.this year i can`t be bothered.i recently spent a lot of cash buying a fac mk2 rapid and to be honest great gun and all as it is i can`t be bothered.i`m applying to a rifle club and think it would be less hassle to drive to it get the gear out shoot and come home.i guess i seem to be losing my appetite for vermin control .i still love my guns but it`s how i use them that seems to be the problem.has anyone else had this kind of dilemma?? Dunkield
Same as above. I can always get up for 'proper' shooting or fishing. When I had to go to Bisley for load testing, I got bored sick of doing it, all arround me were people excited just to be there Anyway I went back recently and it was OK - so maybe I just needed a break from it. Maybe try doing something else for a while, change being as good as a rest and all that.

JJaxeman
"Give me the open country, fresh air and vermin control over a rifle club anyday" Couldn't agree more with the above statement its to get out walking around the countyside once your out there you know it's worth it. Don't do early mornings more of a evening daytime/evening shooter myself
Fatcatsplat
I think it's a bit like anything in life really - You go through peaks and troughs. I'm like it with work and hobbies - Anything with an air of repetition. When everything is bleak and horrible, something happens and it all looks rosy again. And if it doesn't, flog us yer guns for a fiver

Bluelungbutter
I can't go anywhere with out looking up into the trees or checking out the outline of fields just to see damage that gives me an excuse to get out there. DunK

Guest rabgoat
I hadn't fished in nearly two years and last week i went out and loved it,I very nearly pulled out of the planned trip and am so glad i went.im loving this rain at the minute, should get a fresh run of fish with the rivers swelling.as for shooting i can't get out of bed early any more, that's why i'm thinking of a pcp airrifle for the crack of dawn quietness.the shot gun and 17hmr are too noisy on the small farms i shoot on.
