Curly87 Posted September 2, 2008 Report Share Posted September 2, 2008 you should make a lamp........ o how the teachers laughed when i told them i was going to make one for my major DT project until i carved this....... the pics dont really do it justice, the stem is carved from one solid bit of mahogany, ended up getting an A* for it the only one in my GCSE's my original plan was to turn the base down on a wood lathe, but the darn teachers wouldn’t allow it as it was made from more than one piece of wood, silly health and safety rules!
