HaveToShoot
Got set up on barley stubble at about 8:00. A few came in right away which did for the flapper and the two bouncers. It started to rain about 9:00 which put a damper on the action for about two hrs. It eased a bit and a few started to flight. The wind kicked up and things really got going. This is my new personal best to my own gun. 161 picked, 5 lost and 10 crows for 300 cartridges, 11 left and rights

HaveToShoot
I was really knackered having to pick the birds without a dog. I would drop 10 or so and would notice them flaring off so knew there was too many upside down in the pattern. One thing I have done this yr is absolutely miles of driving a scouting with the binos. My last shoot before this I shot 150 on a different field. Every day after work Ive been out for 3 to 4 hrs searching. It really has made a difference. I have keyed on this rather than gagets as Ive not had my magnet out this year yet. Ive read posts on here about the importance of homework and glad I listened Thanks to the forum to giving a relatively new pigeon shooter a crash course so to speak
