Baldrick
Just been out to get some lunch in Chelmsford, and the whole place is crawling with people. I made the mistake of driving through Writtle, which was like trying to negotiate my way through a cattle stampede. It's going to rain here tomorrow morning (bad luck for both the V Festival lunatics and me in my combine).

Bagsy
Went up the A12 to Colly Zoo late morning and got held up a bit, the traffic coming back South looked a lot worse. Avoided the A12 altogether coming back via Maldon, Danbury, A130/A127. Longer route but beats being sat in that lot

Pedro
A good weekend, but I have to confess not one of the best. Mrs P. and I had managed to get into a great location to watch Kings of Leon last night when the daughters buffoon of a boyfriend comes up and tells us she's collapsed on the other side of the park. Off we trotted at break neck speed, (bloody difficult in crowds like that), only to find her and discover that the **** had got it all wrong and it was another girl - seriously peed off as they were one of the main bands I wanted to see this year. On the plus side, we managed to get another great vantage point for the Chemical Brothers - top show The old park took a right hammering this year as well and I can't ever see them clearing so much litter away, the moaning minnies of Writtle are going to have a field day . Still managed to get into the mosh pit for the Stereophonics and Muse, (stunning as usual), but I'm definately getting old and tetchy - I threatened to put some kid on his **** for elbowing me in the ribs He didn't do it again though P.
