Markio
Be interested to know where it is too, stick up a google map if you'd be so kind. Maybe we can organise a meet?
smcgreg1
I have found this info so far but can't find a contact number A12 turn off at Boreham, from Chelmsford direction turn right over A12 and then left into B1137 Main Road, from Hatfield direction turn first left into B1137, continue along for about 3/4 mile past plantation road on your right turning next left into Waltham Road, continue over A12 for about 3 miles past dog and gun public house on your left, Whitehouse farm is then on the right from the direction I think this is the area (ish) for the Farm http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=e...mp;t=h&z=15 I think I have just given myself a little task this weekend to try and find it and get some more info

MC
Terling is a small Straw bale shoot that is normally on once a fortnight. It is about 2 miles off the A12 at Hatfield peverel. They have a good ground in a valley where you roast in the summer and get very wet in the winter. 2 of my local clubs shoot against them as a home and away fixtures throughout the season. Within this area there are literally loads of sunday morning shoots, although if you want "QUALITY" targets don't bother with any of them you have to go to Southdown. No one else in the country is capable of putting on a good shoot. The other shoots I go to are Tollesbury Wildfowlers at Tiptree although their season ends next weekend until march, and the Beckingham Bell shoot at Tolleshunt Major on the last sunday of the month every month. Drive By
MC is the terling shoot something we could just turn up to? If not what would your advice be onv trying to get a 'foot in the door'? Seems SMC hasn't had much joy with trying to ring through. Thanks
MC
I will find out on sunday when the next terling shoot is, I would have thought that you can just turn up but it would make sense to make contact first if you can. A lot of the sunday morning shoots do tend to dry up a bit during the winter as most of them are held on farms etc and access can be a problem. There is coming up on the 12th and 19th oct a shoot at tollesbury wildfowlers off barnhall road tiptree. On the last sunday of the month throughout the year there is the Beckinham Bell shoot behind the Bell PH at Tolleshunt Major. There is also Coggeshall Clay club who shoot near Kelvedon. Colchester Gun Club hold a shoot on alternate tuesday evenings at radcliffes ground at Abberton. The Blackwater clay club shoot on the other tuesdays. This is obviously throughout the summer. Colchester Gun Club also hold 4 shoots on a saturday afternoon in february. There is also Maylandsea Gun Glub but they tend to be more trap and DTL. Mundon White Horse also have a sunday morning shoot throughout the year. Little oakley Wildfowlers shoot nearly every other saturday throughout the summer as well. Drive By
Thanks for that MC, seems to be lots going on round here to check out! I think any of the week night ones won't be possible for me due to work but the weekend ones are certainly of interest. I tried ringing a load of places of the CPSA website but most said they were stopping until next year or they were memebers only with a very long list of people on standby!
