SA1Gunner
Shadrack, no disrespect meant fella, It is really hard to get permission to shoot on land, nobody knows who you are, have you got any experience at handling air rifles or shotguns', or what you are like as a person, so to come on here with your first post and ask where you can shoot rabbits is slightly cheeky. Now then what you can do is become a regualr poster, contribute to the forum in a positive way, treat forum members like you would like to be treated, and then over a period of time, people in the Wirral may think that fella Shadrack seems a good lad and they may invite you to tag along with them in the future. You may offer to carry the lamp for a gunner when they go lamping or offer your help in general. Another idea, is lets say, you have just got some pigeon shooting, you could offer to share your pigeon shoot as long as the other shooter shared his rabbit shooting with you. If you want to try and get your own permission, ask everyone you know, do they know anyone with land that may allow you to shoot on that land, you could take a day out and go knocking on landowners doors but be prepared for the knock backs but the worst that can happen is they say " sorry lad you can't shoot on here or we have just had a bout of mixy and nearly all the rabbits have died " if that happens, just say thanks for your time anyway, here's my contact details and in the future if you need someone to come along and help you to control the vermin I would gladly do it for free, you never know because that landowner may go somewhere over the next few days and he may meet his mate who owns some land and is having problems with vermin and your details may get past on. I hope you take this post in the manner it was written in a helpful way. Good luck.
