It was a big selling point firing it without chokes for skeet. guns well made but i cant hit f all with it.
elgreco
Surely it will damage the threads with no chokes fitted?
HDAV
I can't believe you are recommended to use it with no chokes fitted they would soon fill with crud if not get damaged!
BerettaSV10
Surely it will damage the threads with no chokes fitted? +1 I would never shoot a m/c gun without its chokes in, as at risk on wrecking or fowlling up the choke threads. mr salt
this gun can be used without chokes unlike others . i have this gun i even have the box in come in with all the paper work. it will not damage the threads. it was a selling point of the gun. edit) the gun i have has external chokes not internal , the chokes are black and with slotes in for the spanner to tighten them up. sounds odd but iam right,i would not shoot my aya or 391 open. clayman
This appears to be the E Rizzini side plate 12g - also sold as the Lincoln No 2. While condition looks good, be aware this is an old gun, they stopped making them at least 10yrs ago, and parts are now hard to locate. While it looks little used, it could be anything up to 30yrs old. E Rizzini sold out to F Rizzini, and while Fausto and the I Rizzini ( FAIR factory) still make a similar looking guns the chokes etc are different. Early ones have short extended chokes with the thread at the base of the choke - while the later ones have longer flush chokes with recessed key notches, and the thread at the end of the choke. New chokes for the later models are around £30-00 each and a key £20. The gun is a bit overpriced if no chokes / key at all bearing in mind a full new set is as much as £170-00, but if its got two in and the key its about right for a dealer's retail price. Older type second hand chokes might be found for £10-£15, I'm not aware of any source of new ones, I don't believe either Teague or Briley make off the shelf chokes to fit. mr salt
mine must be between 25 -27 years old now.(how long did it sit in the dealers) it does not have the bead mid rib like the one in the picture,it also has a wider rib and red glow front bead. well spotted on the 2008 post. would think hes got a gun by now!
