Hi all Jeff & i went out again on friday night 31/10/08, we went on only a small acreage this time as we didn't want to be out too late.Told the missus we are going out early 7-30 pm so we wont be too late back.

Decided to try a bit of land we hadn't been around for a while not too big and not far from home,( ideal for an early night)

Of we went nailed a couple in the first half hour, then another and another, there was foxes everywhere, even though it was a bit damp underfoot Jeffs Disco wallowed in it although we were on wheat stubble , setaside ( there is still some about) and maise stubble.

Even though i say it myself and i dont like blowing my own trumpet we both shot really well although they all played ball so to speak, nice safe shots and sat or stood lovely for a change.

Mind you we kept saying we will have another look to see if we can get another one, going from one of the three farms and back.

We didn't cover a big acreage but there sure was plenty of charlies about finishing up with 11 all told and 6 (see photo) on a one farm alone.

we did manage to get home for 2am although the other half said she thought we weren't going to be late although i did explain that we were earlier than last week.

I know i did say about blowing my own trumpet but 11 out of 11 is not bad is it. Cheers Smokey :D
