dogman
I ,in one of my earlier postings, mentioned a shooter who has been let down by his legal people after having £12,000 of shooting equipment siezed. I have since found out it was Winchester and he was let down by SACS. I can only assume things are not as they seem with this organisation. I would hope Winchester could give us a full and frank account of the goings on, after all he did bang the drum for SACS very loudly. I dont support any of the bigger organisations, I use what suits my needs. CPSA covers me for what I need in the field. I also have a chance to win some cash if I fair well at a shoot. There are also the cheaper membership fee's, (for now at least) to take into account.
David BASC
There seems to be a few issues here that SACS will need to sort out. I am not sure that washing their dirty linen in public is going to do them any good at all. Obviously no one outside of the management team really have all the facts of what is happening and what is really going on, so I guess it is best for us to keep well out of it and let them sort it out, if they can. Foxgun Tom
Despite my leaving the organisation still has a great deal of merit, and its membership fees and insurance are still the best deal by far. As for Whinchester, he was not a SACS member at the time his guns were taken and wev'e been over those old coals allready, Tom

David BASC
Hardly! As I said, if SACS have problems then let them sort it out. I am certainly not trying to score any points here. We must remember that the people who could be affected are the members of SACS as things like this are a massive distraction for the management team and that can lead to a drop off in service and delivery, so it is in their interest for this to be resolved quickly, effectively and quietly.
