Teal
Ok guys Sorry for the delay I was sampling some free alcohol at a college commitee meeting . I can still think clearly though fortunately... The correct answer was 276 pellets, which means that the extremely last minute entry from bigden was only one away at 277 and scoops the £80 voucher, in second place with the guess of 270 pellets was Gunnerman. Congratulations both of you, please contact deako with your ideas of what you want to buy with the money. The cartridge was a 28g six, I know not very unusual at all... that's what made it unexpected! Sorry for all those who thought the cartridge was actually black it was marker pen to try and obscure the details from the case. And for everyone else, better luck next time, there is talk of another competition in the near future! Here is a picture of the cartridge and you can count the pellets! Bigden
Thanks for the congratulations from you all. Here's a bit of info on me. I have only been shooting pigeons in the last three months after shooting clays for ten years or so. I am enjoying it so far but the birds have been in short supply. Still there's more good times to come. Isn't there?? I will be collecting my stuff off Deako shortly (not sure what to get yet )
Deako
Congratulations to the winners!! Please bear with us for a day or two as we are extremely busy at the moment...I'll contact you both shortly. Cheers. Deako.
Bigden
If you all remember I was the winner of the competition (£80.00 voucher) After Deako contacted me, I asked if I could pay him a visit as I do not live too far away from Wigan. I was greeted by Mark Taylor, who made me feel like that I had known him for twenty years. I was shown the full range of pigeon decoying equipment and I was very impressed. It's all brilliant top of the range stuff. I now have a new Deben hide net, pigeon cradles and a battery. I will be using them shortly If you decide to buy anything from Deako you will not be disappointed. All my future business will be here ! I also got a lot of tips and advice from Mark who tells me he has been shooting pigeons for over twenty years Thank you Mark and John
