duckdog
What would be a good, powerfull spring action air rifle for shooting crows, greys, chavs, pigeon and rats and around £200. I need something basic but powerful. PS Joking about the chavs

happyshooter
hi duck, forget the stealth its ****, go for a 2nd hand hw95k or a hw97/77 or the air arms tx2oo all of these are very good it depends what suits you for weight etc go to a gunshop and try some out, atb brian
MM
i think you could do with a bit of research into the power levels of different rifles. If you want full power, it matters not if its a springer, PCP, Co2.....as they all can be "full power".
bullet boy
A Stealth is a PCP-i thought you wanted a Springer?
smsguitarist
If it's a springer you want then a second hand AA TX200 or Pro-Sport will do you lovely! That or any top end Weirauch will do the same job. All depends if you can lug a heavy bit of a kit around for long.
410PHIL
Hi I have a HW77k and its the dogs dangly bits full power and bloomin accurate I wouldn't change it for another springer its the best I have used.

younggunner122
BSA lightning there awsome Spring rifles, you can get them fairly cheep and there easy to tune up. I have one and i have great fun with it. Weirhaurchs (i cant spell it) are heavy and so are Air arms springs. lightnings are light and versitile and you can get them realy quitet with the new BSA VC silencer. Have fun what ever you get
Paul@Ribchester
Hi mate, I've got a air arms tx2oo and I love it. It really throws a heavy pellet out and is very accurate. Good luck with whatever you get, Paul.
misty00
Cometa 400 or 300?
jay222
Would go with the Hw 77k or 97k full power and as accurate as a springer gets totally agree
evilstoat
HW77K or HW97 TX200 can't go wrong, cometa is ok but the trigger is bad and needs tweaking, HW 97 & 95...& TX200 work well straight out the box they are not too pellet fussy either and if you really want the HW's to shine get a V-Mach kit almost eliminates recoil Edited December 18, 2008 by evilstoat
laf
TX200 is the best springer out ov the box
Carbonrocket
I have a Webley Longbow. Its a break barrel but does 1 inch groups at 30 metres. Webley, airarms or the HW's you cant go wrong! Feel the gun at the shop. Personally I don't like thum hole stocks its all a matter of preferance. Carbon
