wildman
Hi bit of an odd question ,was offered a miroku mk 60 Gd 5 £825 top condition really nice gun, would i be too scared to take this out of the cabinet,or should i stick with a Gd 1 and not mind it being knocked around. Trussman
If it's in good condition buy it. If you do happen to scratch it don't worry, the scratches are easy to remove. Some will disagree with this, but I do like nice wood on a gun.
Baldrick
I'm with Trussman. Dents and scratches (within reason) just add to the character, and can easily be remedied. Grade 5 wood won't up your scores, but it is elegant. Buy it.
Catamong
Sounds too cheap for a Grade 5. Cat.
shoot57
i agree , two years ago i bought an old English sidelock just for game shooting it cost quite a lot of money and i tended to wrap it in cotton wool but then decided to use it for pigeon rabbit and rough shooting , it doesn't mean you cant still look after it and i find using the one gun improves your shooting.....go for it if you like it

TheHunter
If you didn't buy it can you let me know who is selling it? Thanks
blackbird
A Gd5 will be far easier to sell and will hold its money better than a Gr1 when you want to sell it in a few years time if you look after it that is Edited December 23, 2008 by blackbird
