Mrs Sweepy
I used to have one as the pet when i lived with my grandparents Funny i was only telling my boys about him on christmas day. I called him Donald He used to follow me everywhere he was the size of the medium size dog. One day i got up and he was not about so i went to school . When i got home he still was nowhere to be seen so my grandad and i set off to look for him. We found him about half a mile away laying in some bullrushes. He had passed away. I did try to persuade my grandad to carry him home so we could bury him. My dear old Grandpops exact words were You want to bury him . You carry the bloody thing home. So we left old donald to be enjoyed by the nightlife. I think thats what he would have wanted. Dont you. Still miss you like hell grandpops xxxSuzy Thank you GG for the memory. MAJ2
Also known as Barbary Ducks, I was once told. The same chap told me that they can't cross breed with other types of duck, and that given the chance they prefer to perch and roost in trees. I can't vouch for any of this, but I do know that they're good eating.

Ferret Master
Used to have some muscovys penned at the bottom of my Gran's garden. When let out in the morning they would fly a good 80 yards over the house to the goose pen for the day then fly back to their shed at night. Ugly things though. GREENGRASS
The Muscovey has now passed on. Taken by a fox. A few of the local fishermen have informed me and I have not seen him for the last two weeks. Such is life. Rgards GG
