toka_shigazu
Hi...I'm getting back into shotgunning now as well as all the other stuff!!! About to get a shotgun but as yet undecided what to get [secondhand] one big consideration will be the cost of cartridges...can someone post the cost of a basic box of 12g/20g/4.10 shells....and the cost of 250 of each as well. I am going secondhand, and using it for bushing and the occasional pigeon/crow... the main consideration will be towards gun fit and finding a secondhand shotgun that fits but if i find a couple in different bores i want to know the 'running' cost. [mainly to get the support of wifey who might want to give it a try herself] thanks...

tazkb
McAvoys is the best shop around here by a long way really, and I like Tim a lot as well he has allways looked after me. I wish he had a bigger shop though

Guest
Hey Just Cratridges site is good but I managed to find at the same shop I bought my gun, 1000 cartridges number 7 1/2 for £137, that's like 10 pounds cheaper than any other price for 1000 bulk. So sometimes that site is not accurate for the cheapest price.
